Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. You keep full access until the end of your current paid cycle. After that, mailboxes stop sending and domains stop renewing. Nothing is deleted for 90 days after cancellation — reactivate before the cleanup window closes and everything comes back. Only after that are mailboxes and domains cleaned up (mailbox data is backed up for support recovery).
What actually happens
Day 0 (cancel) — subscription flagged as cancelling. Access continues normally.
Day X (cycle end) — sending stops. Mailboxes go dormant. Domain renewals stop.
Day X+90 — mailboxes and domains flagged for cleanup. Reactivation is no longer a one-click affair (contact support if you need to come back).
After cleanup — a backup of mailbox data is retained for support recovery, then eventually purged.
The reactivation window
If you cancel and change your mind before the cleanup window closes (roughly 90 days after cycle end), Settings → Subscription still shows a Reactivate button. Click it, put your card back on file, and everything comes back:
- Mailboxes send again
- Domains resume their previous state
- Warming picks up (though metrics reset — new health scores computed from scratch)
- Add-ons re-attach
Once the cleanup window closes, reactivation isn't self-serve. Contact support.
Cancel vs. downgrade vs. delete
- Cancel — end the whole subscription. Everything stops.
- Downgrade — stay on Winnr but reduce cost (Enterprise → Startup, or drop add-ons).
- Delete individual domains — remove specific resources without cancelling.
Try downgrade or delete first if the pain point is specific. Cancel is the full nuclear option.
What's next
Step-by-step
-
1. Open Subscription settings
Settings → Subscription.
-
2. Click Cancel Plan
Bottom of the tab. Confirmation dialog explains the timing.
-
3. Give a reason (optional)
Winnr asks briefly why you're cancelling. Skip if you don't want to share. The feedback helps Winnr improve.
-
4. Confirm
Cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current cycle. You'll see a banner in the app showing "Access ends [date]".
-
5. Reactivate any time
Before the cleanup window closes, you can reactivate from Settings → Subscription — everything comes back exactly as it was.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get a refund?
No prorated refunds — you paid for the current cycle, you keep using it. If you cancel on day 3 of a 30-day cycle, you get 27 more days of access.
What about add-ons?
All add-ons cancel with the plan. Warming stops sending; dedicated IPs are released back to Winnr's pool; pre-warmed subscriptions cancel (subject to their 90-day terms — you can't cancel a pre-warmed within the first 90 days by cancelling your Winnr plan). Contact support if you have pre-warmed within the term and are also cancelling.
What happens to my domains?
Winnr-purchased domains — you own them. Winnr stops managing DNS, and if auto-renewal is on at the registrar, you're billed there for renewal (not through Winnr). Connected (BYOD) domains — unaffected. They're yours; you always kept the registrar.
What happens to my mailboxes?
Sending stops at cycle end. Passwords still work in a mail client but the mail server no longer accepts new connections. For roughly 90 days after cancellation you can reactivate and everything works again. Only after the cleanup window closes are mailboxes cleaned up, and a backup is preserved beyond that for support recovery.
Can I export my data before cancelling?
Yes — export mailbox credentials (Email Users → Export) and any inbox data you want to keep before cancelling. Nothing prevents this. Do it while your access is active.
