Quick answer

On the pre-warmed domain's detail panel, click Cancel Pre-Warmed. If you're past day 90, the cancel goes through — mailboxes are deleted, the domain returns to Winnr's inventory, and $3/address/month billing stops at the next cycle. If you're within the 90-day term, the button is disabled with a note showing when you can cancel.

What happens at cancellation

Immediately: - Mailboxes on the domain are deleted (SMTP/IMAP auth fails from that moment). - The domain is removed from your account and returned to Winnr's marketplace inventory. Billing stops (see next cycle below). - Any sending tool using those mailboxes will start failing.

Next billing cycle: - The $3/address/month subscription line for that domain drops from your invoice. - No proration for the current cycle (you're billed in full for the month you cancelled during).

Within a few days: - The domain returns to Winnr's marketplace inventory. Someone else can buy it.

Cancel vs. delete

Cancel Pre-Warmed (post-day-90) — returns the domain to inventory, stops billing. This is what you use for pre-warmed.

Delete Domain — for Winnr-purchased or connected (BYOD) domains. Doesn't apply to pre-warmed. If you try to delete a pre-warmed domain, Winnr routes you to the cancel flow instead.

Individual mailbox deletion is also blocked on pre-warmed domains — cancel the whole thing, don't try to remove one mailbox at a time.

What's next

Step-by-step

  1. 1. Open the pre-warmed domain

Domains page → click the domain row. Detail panel opens with a pre-warmed indicator.

  2. 2. Check the term status

The detail panel shows Days remaining until you can cancel — 0 or negative means the term is up. Positive means you're still in the minimum term.

  3. 3. Click Cancel Pre-Warmed

Available only after day 90. Confirmation dialog explains what's about to happen — mailboxes deleted, domain returned to Winnr inventory.

  4. 4. Confirm

Cancellation runs immediately. Mailboxes disable, subscription line for that domain is removed from your Winnr subscription.

  5. 5. Verify billing update

Settings → Billing → next invoice preview should show the pre-warmed line dropped or reduced by the addresses you cancelled.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to the domain after I cancel?

It goes back into Winnr's marketplace inventory to be sold to someone else. You don't keep ownership after cancellation — this is different from Winnr-purchased domains, which stay yours forever.

What if I want to keep the domain but stop the pre-warmed subscription?

You can't. The domain and the pre-warmed subscription are linked — cancelling one cancels both. If you want long-term ownership, buy the domain via Purchase Domain (Classic) instead.

Can I cancel just some mailboxes on a pre-warmed domain?

No — pre-warmed billing is at the domain level, not per-mailbox, and individual mailbox deletion is blocked on pre-warmed domains. You're billed for the total mailbox count you originally bought until the whole domain is cancelled after day 90.

What happens to my sending campaigns using these mailboxes?

Sending stops immediately when mailboxes are deleted. Any sending tool using them will fail auth from that moment on. Coordinate the cancellation with pausing/moving your campaigns.

I'm still within the 90-day term. Can I get an exception?

Contact support@winnr.app if there's a legitimate reason (e.g., you were sold a blocklisted domain, the domain was defective in some way). Winnr handles case-by-case. For "I just changed my mind," no — the term is the term.
