Quick answer

Click Purchase on any marketplace listing. Winnr shows the total — first month charged now, then $3/address/month on subscription renewal. Confirm. Payment runs through Stripe. Domain and mailboxes appear in your Domains and Email Users lists within seconds, ready to send. First-month charge is fail-closed — if payment fails, the purchase rolls back cleanly.

The steps under the hood

When you confirm a purchase:

  1. Payment. First-month charge runs via Stripe. If it fails, purchase aborts.
  2. Inventory claim. The specific domain gets flagged as sold to prevent race conditions with other buyers.
  3. Transfer. The domain and its mailboxes migrate into your account. Passwords are preserved (the same ones that were used during warming).
  4. Subscription update. Winnr adds a $3/address × N line to your subscription at the same billing cycle.
  5. Handoff. Warming is stopped. Sending is enabled at full capacity.

You see the domain in your Domains list and mailboxes in Email Users within seconds.

What you get in each purchase

The fail-closed charge

The first-month payment is fail-closed by design — either the purchase completes successfully and you're charged, or nothing happens at all. Winnr never provisions the domain without a confirmed payment. This means:

Custom email addresses at purchase

By default, you get the warmed mailboxes with their sample local parts. If you want your own local parts (e.g., sam@, alex@, jordan@ instead of chris@ and taylor@), use the custom-usernames option at purchase time.

Note — custom mailboxes are freshly created and don't have the warming history the samples had. They inherit the domain's reputation but the specific mailbox is new. See Custom usernames for the tradeoffs.

Frequently asked questions

When am I charged?

First month immediately at purchase. Ongoing $3/address/month is added to your subscription and billed on the same cycle as your Winnr subscription going forward.

What if my payment method fails?

The purchase rolls back entirely — no domain provisioned, no mailboxes created, no charge on the card. Fix the payment method and retry.

Are the mailboxes really ready to send immediately?

Yes — they're already warmed. No warming period needed. Export credentials and start real campaigns from day one.

What happens to the ongoing warming?

Marketplace mailboxes stop warming at purchase — they're handed over ready-to-send. If you want to keep warming enabled as reputation maintenance, turn it on manually ($0.60/mailbox/month, in addition to the $3/month lease).

Are marketplace mailboxes and my base plan mailboxes billed separately?

Yes. Base plan (Startup $69 or Enterprise $189) covers your plan mailboxes. Pre-warmed mailboxes are a separate $3/address/month subscription line. Different pools, different counters.
