Quick answer

On the mailbox detail panel, scroll to the bottom and click Delete Mailbox. Confirm by typing the email address. The mailbox is removed immediately — SMTP/IMAP auth fails from that moment on. Warming charges (if any) stop next cycle. Deleted mailboxes are backed up — contact support if you need to restore.

When to delete

What deletion doesn't do

Alternatives to deletion

If you're not sure — pause warming instead of deleting. That stops sending activity and lets you keep the mailbox around in case you need it back within the cycle. See Pause warming.

What's next

Frequently asked questions

Can I recover a deleted mailbox?

Deleted mailboxes are backed up. Email support@winnr.app and restoration is usually possible.

What about the messages in the mailbox?

Deleted with the mailbox. If you have universal inbox enabled, historical messages that were synced to Winnr's inbox view stay there (they're a separate copy). But the actual mailbox's stored messages are gone.

Does deleting a mailbox free up my plan slot?

Yes — the deleted mailbox no longer counts against your plan cap. You can immediately create a new mailbox in its place.

Can I bulk-delete mailboxes?

Yes — on the Email Users page, select multiple rows, Bulk Actions → Delete. Confirm the count.

What if the mailbox has warming enabled?

Warming stops when the mailbox is deleted. Next billing cycle skips the warming charge. Current cycle is billed in full.
